Leadership captures the essentials of being able and prepared to inspire others. Effective leadership is based upon ideas that are effectively communicated to others in a way that engages them enough to act as the leader wants them. A leader inspires others to act while simultaneously directing the way that they act. They must be personable enough for others to follow their orders. they also must have the critical thinking skills to know the best way to use the resources at an organization’s disposal. Moreover, leaders should ensure successful change management incase any transformational workplace changes are to take place. Effective leaders make people feel that even the most difficult problems can be tackled productively.

A leader may have a great change idea, ranging from a small system change request, to reorganizing a flow of work, or even creating some templates for all to use. The problem is, for the change management process to be a success, coworkers and management need to support the idea. In addition, they must also be willing to change their habits.
