The mitigation of public health problems is one of the biggest concerns for those whose career path leads them to healthcare management. This holds particularly true for those who work in public health in busy urban areas. Due to population sizes, the unique challenges of transportation, and other contributing factors, these public health challenges tend to be proportionally larger than they would be in smaller areas. In light of this, it’s important to know what these public health challenges are if you’re planning on a career in the field.

As different as we may seem, our health problems can be very similar. Health care trends tend to be pretty consistent across large swaths of the population, so it’s important to pay attention when one becomes widespread.

Conduct research about health problems in the United States and major health events that address them.

You must incorporate research on Health Problems from at least three scholarly resources, which you may acquire by searching the Franklin University Nationwide Library databases or professional research journals. (Note that the title page, as well as reference list, are not included in the page count for this paper.)

Write a 3-4 page paper in which you discuss the findings of your research. Include the following sections in your
paper:

Introduction

A brief introduction to the research topic: Health issues in the United States and Major Health Events.

Identification of health problems – Identify the major health problem for each of two adult groups: 25 to 44 years and 45 to 65 years.
Health events – Identify major national/regional health events to address the health problems for each of the two
age groups.
Impact of health events – Describe and evaluate the impact of major health events identified.
