Your Role: Manager Corporate Strategy in MNC

You have recently joined as a “Manager Corporate Strategy” in a larger MNC. The Director has asked you to prepare a formal report on the existing strategic direction of the organization and create a strategic growth management plan that covers the following aspects fully in your work. You need to divide the report into two parts:

Part A:
You are to complete an internal and external analysis that provides a basis for strategic planning by analyzing the internal analysis using SWOT and external environmental analysis using PESTEL. Apply fully on the chosen organization. You also need to cover the analysis of the competitive environment using Porter’s Five Forces model. Critically evaluate the strengths & weaknesses of these analyses in the context of your chosen organization.

Part B:
In part B, you need to devise a strategic plan based on the environmental analysis and findings of your part A. In this plan, you also need to evaluate different types of strategic directions available to the organization. Further, justify and recommend the most appropriate growth platform and strategies.
You also need to produce a strategic management plan with strategies, objectives and tactics.
