Apply the historical approach to the five myths in this module (Norse, Yoruban, Zuni, Indian, and Japanese), as the approach is outlined in the module exploration.

What historical data do you see from these myths, and what kinds of pictures does this data paint about life in each of these cultures at the time they were composed? Please use specific examples from the myths in demonstrating your answer. Likewise, apply the cosmological approach to the five myths of this module, as the approach is outlined in the module exploration. What did these particular ancient and medieval cultures believe about the nature of the universe and its “blueprint”? Demonstrate your argument with examples from the five myths.

Next, explore relevance to modern narratives by applying the historical and cosmological approaches to a modern narrative of your choosing from anytime in the past century.
