Like the first story you read, “The Golden Mix” is deceptively simple. Here you may want to review some of the basic features of the Mahayana from Module Five as you formulate your answer. How do you see “The Golden Mix” as embodying some of the primary themes of Mahayana Buddhism? Which primary themes are they–you might need to review the Module Five material to answer this question intelligently.
